The Printing Source, Inc. uses the most up-to-date versions of popular layout, design, and photo-editing software as our customers require. Yes, we have the latest version of Quark and Adobe Suite Products.
The Rampage Ripping System, in conjunction with its client and trapping editor, is used throughout the state-of-the-art Pre-Press department for workflow and job management.
We utilize the Epson 9800 for contract color proofs. These inkjet printers receive color corrected ripped data through our Oris RIP. We have been certified as a Master Printer by IdeaAliance in the GRACoL specification. Our TechSage Spinjet 1000 allows our customers to see full-color trapped backed-up and trimmed proofs.
Our Creo/Scitex EverSmart Supreme offers drum-scanning quality of Non-Flexible original artwork.
Our Screen PlateRite 8600 Platesetter images 20, 8-page flats per hour. 4,000 dpi can be achieved on our plates. These film-less plates run on all of our conventional presses.
- Two 40” presses handle the bulk of our production. We can handle almost any request with up to eight printing units giving a wide spectrum of design possibilities.
- We also have U.V. capability to further enhance our offerings. The U.V. process allows instantaneous drying for quick turn-times and the ability to print on many substrates, such as plastic, that conventional inks will not handle.
- Our DI press prints four color process on up to 12x18” sheets. Its advantage includes the quick turn, short run jobs with the quality of an offset press.
- In addition, we can produce smaller 2-color jobs to complement your larger work with our 2-color Ryobi and our high-speed 2-color Halm Jet envelope press.
